Joyce Vogel, 88, of Allentown, died Aug. 8, 2023, in Liza’s House Personal Care, Danielsville, where she had been residing.

She was the wife of the late Robert R. Vogel Sr.

Born Sept. 15, 1934, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ida (Oswalt) Bossons.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Schneider Manufacturing, Allentown, for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.

Her survivors include children Robert R. Vogel Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va., Diane George and husband, Danny Sr., of Walnutport, and Lori Hilbert and husband, John, of Lexington, S.C.; grandchildren Josh Hilbert and wife, Kristi, Jason Hilbert and wife, Priscilla, Danny George Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, and Jenny Wilson and husband, Anthony; and great-grandchildren Tyler, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Julia, Bella, Zoey, Olivia and Abigail.

Her service will be private, at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public calling hours.
