Joseph Lloyd Fiedler, 79, formerly of New Tripoli, died Aug. 5, 2023, in Riverton Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Allentown.

Born July 13, 1944, in Allentown, he was the son the of late William and Edna (Hower) Fiedler.

A 1962 graduate of Parkland High School, he was machinist for J&L Precision Machine Co., Inc. for many years before retiring.

He was an active member, caretaker and certified instructor for hunter safety at Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, and he loved to quilt.

He will forever be remembered for his persistence until it was perfect.

His survivors include a son Ryan Fiedler and his wife, Mandy, of Montana; sisters Mary Lou Schneck of Schnecksville, and Nancy Bowman of Berkeley Heights, N.J.; fiancée Joann Schumacher of Emmaus; and grandchildren Alayna and Axtyn Fiedler.

He was predeceased by brothers Wilhelm Arthur and William (Billy) Fiedler.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family.
