Burglary
Two males allegedly used a blunt object to break a glass door at retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:25 a.m. July 5. They then allegedly entered the store and removed $6,269.89 worth of clothing, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The males fled the area in a black vehicle.
Someone allegedly forced entry through a back door of a residence in the 7300 block of Sauerkraut lane, Lower Macungie Township. A resident was home and frightened the alleged burglar who fled. Nothing was removed from the residence. The incident was reported 10:27 p.m. July 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Vehicle theft
A resident of Liberty Lane, Lower Macungie Township, discovered a vehicle was removed from his residence sometime between 3 and 7 a.m. July 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported at approximately 11:13 a.m. July 11. The vehicle was later found in Wisconsin and may have been taken by a relative of the resident, according to authorities.
DUI accident
A 28-year-old male, of Birdsboro, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a single vehicle crash in front of a residence in the 7800 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 3:45 a.m. June 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was towed from the crash scene.
DUI
A 43-year-old female, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Schantz Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:12 p.m. Aug. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 45-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and Allen Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 10:46 p.m. July 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
