State Rep. Ann Flood, R-138th, is holding a free Scam Jam presentation 1-3 p.m. Aug. 23 in the social hall at Lookout Fire Company, 123 S. Main St., Pen Argyl. Participants will learn how to protect themselves from financial fraud and common scams.

There will be a Boy Scouts meeting 6:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Moorestown.

Moore Township Historical Commission next meets 7 p.m. Aug. 29 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.
The group is planning its annual Octoberfest, set for 5 p.m. Oct. 12 in the social hall at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive.

The Moore Township Community Days committee is planning to hold a concert in the park 6-10 p.m. Sept. 8. The Barons will perform.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board will hold an open house 7-9 p.m. Sept. 11 at the pavilion at the recreation center, 635 English Road. A presentation by the Heritage Foundation is planned.
The board works to preserve farmland and open space to maintain the rural nature and beauty of Moore Township.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. every Tuesday in the social hall at Klecknersville Rangers. There will be prizes, a progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, wash line bingo and more.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, celebrates its 300th anniversary in 2023. Emmanuel’s was founded in 1723.
