Leona V. Kuhns, 87, of Whitehall, died Aug. 12, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Roy E. Kuhns.

Born in Hazelton, she was a daughter of the late William and Verna (Green) VanBlargan.

She was a sales associate for Avon Cosmetics for more than 50 years. She was the most senior associate in the region and was a member of the president’s club.

She was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Allentown. She was a current member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She is survived by two sons, Gary C. of Coplay and Dennis R. and his wife Stacey of Exton; three grandchildren, Jenny Huegel, Ryan Kuhns and Tyler Kuhns; and a great-grandson, Dylan Huegel.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Kuhns, for whom she was a caregiver for more than 50 years; a granddaughter, Laura Kuhns; and five siblings, Wilmer, Herbert and William VanBlargan, Dorothy Coombs and Nancy Hoffman.
