AUG. 1

A missing juvenile in the unit block of South Second Street was investigated.

Officers conducted a security check at Saylor Park Museum, 245 N. Second St.

A disturbance in the 200 block of Chestnut Street had police on the scene.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of South Fourth Street involving a person with reported mental health and alcohol issues.

Officers assisted with a report of trespassing in the 1100 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua.

A parking complaint in the unit block of North Second Street was reported.

The department addressed a report of an abandoned vehicle on North Fourth Street.

AUG. 3

Police investigated an alleged Bitcoin investment fraud in the 800 block of Barbara Drive.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen bicycle in the unit block of North Front Street.

The department assisted with a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Fifth and Chapel streets, North Catasauqua.

AUG. 4

A suspicious person brought police to the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Officers conducted a wellness check on the Coplay Parkway.

Police investigated a noise complaint in the 200 block of South Second Street.

AUG. 5

Citations were issued for speeding in the 400, 500 and 600 blocks of Chestnut Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a report of a domestic in progress in the 500 block of Grove Street.

Police responded to a complaint of foul balls in a resident’s yard in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.

A found dog was turned in to police headquarters, 98 S. Fourth St. The dog was returned home.

AUG. 6

Police were on the scene of a reported burglary from a garage in the unit block of South Second Street.

A motor vehicle accident brought police to North Seventh and Hall streets.

Officers addressed a possible water line break in the 500 block of Chestnut Street.

The department checked on a report of an opened tool box with needles and other medical supplies inside in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.
