Kevin Richard Weiner, 66, of Bethlehem, died at home on August 4, 2023. He was the son of the late Richard and Helen (Sancza) Weiner.

He earned a diploma from the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Lehigh University.

He worked in newspaper systems. He then returned to Lehigh where he managed campus computing and networking services, most recently as Advanced Technology director. He was an independent consultant, focusing largely on audio, video, and animation software development, and was an innovator of karaoke. He taught classes in guitar and ukulele-building.

He is survived by a niece, Corinne Shearer.

He was predeceased by a sister, Gail Weiner Shearer.
