John F. Kocher, 91, of Walnutport, died Aug. 8, 2023. He was the husband of the late Frances (Ritter) Kocher.

Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Joseph Kocher Sr. and the late Marion (Crouthamel) Kocher.

He was a production manager at Cross-country Cloths for 27 years. He was then a maintenance professional at Northampton Area HS for 18 years until he fully retired.

He was a deacon, past president and an Elder of the consistory for Christ U.C.C. for many years.

He bowled in the senior league at Hampton Lanes.

He is survived by two daughters, Lynn L. Ritter of Walnutport and Georgene and her husband Richard Doyle of Bethlehem; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Thelma Seidel of New Tripoli.

He was predeceased by two brothers; four sisters; and one granddaughter.
