Lehigh Valley Health Network names presidents at LVH - Crest, LVH - Muhlenberg
Bob Begliomini, PharmD, MBA, has been named President of the Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH) - Cedar Crest campus and the Lehigh Region of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), which includes the campuses of LVH - Cedar Crest, LVH - 17th Street, LVHN - Tilghman and LVHN - 1503 N. Cedar Crest.
Jim Miller, CRNA, MBA, has been named President of the LVH - Muhlenberg campus and the Northampton Region, which includes the campuses of LVH - Muhlenberg, LVH - Hecktown Oaks and LVHN - Highland Avenue.
Begliomini has served as President of LVH - Muhlenberg for the past five years where his leadership helped the campus’s services, programs and facilities grow and thrive.
During his time at LVH - Muhlenberg, the health network opened the Family Health Pavilion, which includes the Family Birth and Newborn Center, a Level II NICU and Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.
The hospital also earned accreditation as a Level II Trauma Center and celebrated its 60th anniversary caring for the community. Renovations being made to the hospital’s main entrance will provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and guests.
Begliomini joined LVHN in 2001 as Administrator of Pharmacy Services, a position he held for 13 years. In 2014, he was named Vice President of Operations at LVH - Muhlenberg before being named hospital President and Senior Vice President of Operations for LVHN in 2018.
Begliomini received a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at The University of the Sciences, Philadelphia. He received a Master of Business Administration at DeSales University and completed a fellowship at the Health Management Academy.
Miller, an LVHN colleague for more than 20 year, is an experienced leader familiar with the LVH - Muhlenberg campus and operations of the health network. He joined LVHN in 2002 as a cardiac nurse anesthetist and became Director of Lehigh Valley Anesthesia Services in 2005.
Miller served as Vice President of Operations and Perioperative Services before being named President of LVH - Hecktown Oaks, providing leadership in the design and construction of the new hospital in Lower Nazareth Township prior to and at the time of its opening.
Most recently, Miller served as Chief Operating Officer of LVH - Cedar Crest. Although he will relinquish the responsibilities of this role, Miller will continue to serve as Senior Vice President of Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence.
Miller received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Holy Family University, Philadelphia, a Master of Science from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University. He is a graduate of the Academy GE Fellows program for administrative executives and LVHN’s Institute for Health Care Leadership program.
Begliomini and Miller report to John Pierro, MBA, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of LVHN.
