Theresa E. Erkinger, 92, of Northampton, died Aug. 4, 2023, at home. She was the wife of the late John “Hank” G. Erkinger.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Kopfenstimer) Yurasits.

She was the first employee of Precision Medical Inc. and was an assembler.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and of the Women’s Guild.

She was a member of the Catholic War Vets Ladies Auxiliary and Friendly Fifties.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane Krupa and husband Michael; two grandsons, Michael J. and wife Elena and Brenton A. and wife Amy; three great-granddaughters, Makayla Grace, Emma Noel and Kendra Leigh; a brother, John Yurasits and wife Mary; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Ann Stimpfl and Helen Paul.

There will be a visitation 8:30-9:45 a.m. Aug. 11 in the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton, 18067.
