Burglary

Someone removed approximately $2,200 cash, an unknown number of Pennsylvania State Inspection and emission stickers, a cordless drill and a ratchet tool after forcing their way into a business along Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township, between 1:40 a.m. and 2:34 a.m. July 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

A 29-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of East Harrison Street and Alpine Circle, Emmaus borough, 2:01 a.m. July 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 43-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of South Cedarbrook Road and U.S. Route 222 South, Lower Macungie Township, 1:35 a.m. June 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

Two people allegedly removed $2,848.95 worth of miscellaneous grocery items from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between Dec. 4, 2022 and June 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The alleged retail thefts were reported June 16 at the state police station, according to authorities.

Miscellaneous grocery items valued at $153.69 were removed from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:22 p.m. July 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Loss prevention personnel observed the theft, saw the alleged thieves leave in a vehicle, alerted authorities and the vehicle was stopped along Hamilton Boulevard. All items were recovered.

A male wearing a blue button-down long-sleeved shirt and jeans allegedly removed 14 cans of spray paint, with a total value of $83.86, from Hobby Lobby, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, June 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The same person returned to the store June 15 and allegedly attempted to leave with $101.63 worth of spray paint, according to authorities. The person fled the store.

A woman is suspected of attempting to remove miscellaneous food items, with a total value of $40.38, from Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:41 p.m. July 19, according to Pennsylvania State Fogelsville. Authorities noted this is the third such incident involving the woman.

A 60-year-old female, of Barto, was taken into custody after allegedly removing merchandise with a total value of $125.79 from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 3:48 p.m. July 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A male removed clothing and electronics, with a total value of $100, from Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:03 p.m. June 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly placed items into a bag and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

Criminal mischief

A 23-year-old male, of Bristol, Vt., allegedly threw a rock through a front window and a glass door at Hamilton Beverage and Smoke, 6366 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 9 p.m. July 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Damage was estimated at $3,000 for the window and $2,500 for the glass door. The incident was reported by the business owner July 4.

Extortion

Someone extorted $50 through an online payment system from a 16-year-old male, of Alburtis, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 24 at the Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville station.

Someone demanded $1,350 through a combination of an online payment service and gift cards from a 16-year-old male, of Macungie, after the teen sent an image to an unknown person through social media, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 5.

Someone threatened an 18-year-old male, of Lower Macungie Township, after the teen sent an image through social media, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. According to authorities, the teen was told to pay money to prevent the image from being used. The incident was reported May 27.

Theft from vehicle

A power drill was removed from an unlocked truck parked along Tollgate Road, Upper Milford Township, 3 a.m. July 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 37-year-old female, of Charleston, W.Va. and a 32-year-old male, of Brodheadsville, were cited for harassment after an argument escalated into a fight at a location near the Movie Tavern Trexlertown, Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, June 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly bit the female on the foot and the female allegedly kicked the male in the nose, according to authorities.

A 22-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited for harassment after he allegedly struck an 18-year-old male at a location along Kaitlyn Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:15 a.m. July 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The older male hit the younger male in the face, according to authorities.

A 46-year-old female, of Allentown, was cited for harassment after she allegedly slapped an 18-year-old female at a location along Wood Lane, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 12:55 a.m. July 10.

Theft

Someone removed several containers of beer after forcing open an outdoor mini refrigerator at an outdoor bar area at House and Barn restaurant, 1449 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported July 6.

A wallet was removed from a purse in a shopping cart and credit cards from the wallet were used to purchase multiple gift cards at Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 1:09 p.m. June 16.

Someone removed a large gray ceramic tortoise, valued at $300, from a location along Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between June 30 and July 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

Someone in a white sedan entered the property of Blackmans Cycle Center, 4911 Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township and soon fled after activating an alarm system, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident began at approximately 4:48 a.m. June 23, according to authorities.

Found property

A cellphone was found on a hill at Lock Ridge Park, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported July 6. Contact state police at 610-395-1438.

Identity theft

A resident of Fritch Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned a credit card account was opened using their personal information after interest and late fees accrued on the account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported May 23.

Criminal trespass

A person entered an enclosed porch at a residence along Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:35 a.m. May 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 60-year-old female, of Center Valley, was taken into custody June 13 after she allegedly trespassed at a location in the 9300 block of Mertztown Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
