On July 29, the Economopoulos and Moniak families, of Emmaus, pooled their energies to raise money for Groceries PLUS, an emergency food pantry hosted by Bethel Bible Fellowship Church located at 418 Elm St., Emmaus.
Ann Marie Moniak’s baking skills and the entrepreneurship of Emilia, Sofia and Nora Economopoulos resulted in a lemonade and goody sale. Assisted by their parents, the girls spent a Saturday morning waiting on customers and gaining firsthand experience in the art of community service.
