Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
JULY 5
Traffic stops were conducted at East 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue, at East Ninth Street and Main Street, the 1400 block of Main Street and at East 10th Street and Dewey Avenue.
Juvenile issues took place in the 2500 block of Main Street, at Canal and West 14th streets and at West Fourth and Main streets.
Reports of suspicious vehicles at West 10th and Canal streets, in the unit block of West 21st Street and at East 21st Street and Line Alley were addressed.
A disturbance in the 1800 block of Main Street was reported.
Police assisted a female in the 1700 block of Main Street.
Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 1800 block of Main Street and the 1900 block of Canal Street.
JULY 6
Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street, at Canal and West 14th streets, in the 600 block of East 21st Street, at Center and West 19th streets, at Laubach Avenue and East 18th Street and at East Fourth Street and Howertown Road.
Officers responded to a juvenile issue in the unit block of West First Street.
JULY 7
At East 14th and Main streets, a report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated.
A male trespassing in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue had police at the scene.
Suspicious activity took place at West 10th and Canal streets, which resulted in two males taken into custody for outstanding warrants out of Northampton County. Both males were transported to the station and released to Northampton County sheriffs.
A noise complaint in the 1400 block of Canal Street was addressed.
Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1300 block of Canal Street.
Traffic stops were conducted at East 10th Street and Line Alley, in the 300 block of Main Street, at East 10th and Main streets, at East 21st Street and Washington Avenue, at Main and East 22nd streets and at East 21st Street and Lincoln Avenue.
JULY 8
Traffic stops were conducted in the 1800 block of Main Street, at West 14th and Canal streets, in the unit block of West 21st Street and at Main and East Ninth streets.
In the 2400 block of Main Street, a male with an outstanding warrant out of Carbon County was taken into custody and transported to Northampton County Prison.
Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 900 block of Main Street.
A suspicious male in the 100 block of West 16th Street was reported.
An unattended death in the 1700 block of Main Street was investigated.
Reports of fireworks in the 500 block of Main Street and at Main and First streets were addressed.
