Dolores A. Reaman

Dolores A. Reaman, 81, of Whitehall, died Aug. 3, 2023, in St. Luke’s Hospice House from complications of dementia. She was the wife of Ronald G. Reaman for 61 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anastasia (Schwoyer) Deutsch.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She studied accounting and paralegal studies at Lehigh County Community College and Penn State University, Lehigh Valley campus.

She worked in the treasurer’s office and the police department in various capacities for Whitehall Township. She held administrative posts for Lehigh County district justices.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fullerton, where she was on the altar guild. She was a past Sunday school teacher at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts and was a secretary and a treasurer for the Fullerton Memorial Playground Athletic Association. She was a volunteer teacher’s aide. She was also an officer of the Teamsters union and volunteered on numerous political campaigns.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Ronald Jr. and Josh, of Allentown, and Jon at home; a daughter, Denise and her husband Mark Wiragh of Lower Macungie Township; six grandchildren, Andrew Reaman, Aiden Polce, Grace Wiragh, Kendall Wiragh, Kyle Reaman and Callie Reaman; and a great-grandchild, Braelyn Reaman.

She was predeceased by seven siblings, Mildred Auman, Anna Snyder, Charles Deutsch, Bernice Smith, Mary Wingert, Donald Deutsch and Claudia Watson.
