Coplay Community Days is scheduled for Aug. 25-27. It will feature quality entertainment, delicious food, great fun, a free swim and more.

The planning committee meets 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of every month in council chambers at the municipal building, 98 S. Fourth St. These meetings are open to the public.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is planning its offerings for the food stand at Community Days, including pork barbecue, cabbage and noodles, clam chowder, hot dogs and drinks.

The American Club of Coplay adult picnic will be held Sept. 9 at the pavilion. Doors open noon. Food will be 1-6 p.m., and refreshments will be served 1-9 p.m.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.

If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.

The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce, noodles, canned pasta and rice pouches.
