Bath: Bingo event scheduled for Aug. 10 at Bath Fire Social Hall
Bath Fire Social Hall, 135 S. Walnut St., will be holding a bingo bash Aug. 11. The doors will open 4:30 p.m.
Tickets may possibly be still available at the door.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

Reminder: Bath Old Home Weekend will continue through Aug. 13 at Ciff Cowling Field.
Entertainment night will be Aug. 11 at the field. Comedian Scott Henninger will be performing 6-7 p.m. The Bryant Brothers Trio will perform music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The concession stand will be open, courtesy of Bath Borough administration.
Activity day is set for Aug. 12. The annual softball tournament, sponsored by Bath-Allen Youth Club, will begin 12:30 p.m. at the field. The rain date is Aug. 13.
The Wonton Soups will perform 5-8 p.m. The concession stand will be open, courtesy of St. John’s church.
Bath Mayor Fiorella Reginelli-Mirabito’s Throw a Buck in the Truck fundraiser will help to purchase supplies for Bath schools.
Residents are encouraged to decorate their houses red, white and blue and help celebrate Bath community spirit.

Visit the Bath Museum 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 12.
Instead of the usual third Saturday of the month public hours, the museum will be open the second Saturday this month to coincide with Bath’s Old Home Weekend. The museum is located at 121 S. Walnut St.

Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be having a member appreciation picnic, scheduled for noon-5 p.m. Aug. 12.
There will be food, entertainment, raffles, corn hole and horseshoes. Draft beer and mixed drinks are free for the first two hours.
There is a sign-up fee, refunded upon arrival. Sign up with a bartender. There is also a nonrefundable fee for one nonmember guest.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, Moorestown, will hold its peach festival 3-9 p.m. Aug. 12.
There will be food, bingo, games, a raffle and a cake walk starting 8 p.m. Entertainment will be by Desire.

National Farmers Market Week was celebrated Aug. 6-12, so get out to Bath Farmers Market, at Monocacy Creek Park, 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 12.

For the month of August, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church will help Bath Area Food Bank by collecting crackers and paper products. There is also a need for canned fruit and boxed macaroni and cheese.
Remember, your monetary gifts stretch further than any amount of food.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be having tours of historic buildings, grounds and museum on the third Saturday of every month. The next one is 1-3 p.m. Aug. 19.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St., will hold a spaghetti dinner benefiting the Brown family 4-7 p.m. Aug. 19.
Tickets will be sold at the door. The meal consists of spaghetti, meatballs, side salad and dessert.

Angel’s Attic, a donation center at Christ Church United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., officially opened its door to the community July 20.
It was decided to open a donation center for people to give and receive when in need. Currently in Angel’s Attic, you will find kitchen items, household goods, linens, clothing, shoes, storage totes, holiday items, jewelry, books, movies, puzzles, baby items and some small furniture items.
The center is staffed by volunteers. Hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Donations are welcome during business hours.
