Allen/East Allen townships: Historical area tours offered

The Governor Wolf Historical Society museum and campus is open 1-3 p.m. Aug. 19 at 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township. The society offers free tours of the three historic buildings, grounds and the new museum the third Saturday of each month, April through November.

No reservations are needed.

The 295th anniversary festival of Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement, hosted by Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society, will begin 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township. Special guests have been invited for the day.

The rain date is set for Sept. 10.

Reminder: Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will have its next breakfast 8-11 a.m. Aug. 20. It is open to the public.

There is a cost.

Wildlands Conservancy is hosting stream team maintenance events at several locations this month. Events will be held 8 a.m.-noon Aug. 11, 18 and 25.
