Alburtis Cold Nose Lodge, 235 W. Penn Ave, Alburtis, held a groundbreaking ceremony recently on a addition which will add approximately 2,300 square feet to the existing building. It will be a new lobby/store and dedicated training room. This will allow them to expand the enrichment and nutrition products in the store and add more training classes and private training opportunities. The plans for the expansion were moving forward before the pandemic, but then put on hold. Participants in the groundbreaking ceremony include, left to right: Kerry Reitnauer, Jen Kohlmeier, Kordan Salerno, Rachel Stevens, Rayne Reitnauer, Krista Utsch and Maddie Giove. Trace, the black and white dog on leash and Lillipup the brown and white puppy being held, also attended the ceremony. Lillipup is a foster dog through PA Caring Hearts.
