Daniel Howard Neff, 77, of Austin, Texas, died at home on July 11, 2023. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Paul M. and Madeline (Frey) Neff. He was the husband of Gloria (DeLeon) Neff for 55 years.

He was 1964 Liberty HS graduate. He lettered in baseball.

He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 30 year in various roles before he retired in 1993. He then drive truck for Beck Packaging Inc., Allentown, until April 2011. He then was the field trip chaperone and classroom volunteer for his grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Austin, Texas.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa and her husband Henry E. Heidecker of Austin, Texas and Heather and her husband Lance W. Baker of Annville; four grandchildren, Garrett D. Heidecker of Noxen, Connor B. LaTour of Annville, Victoria A. Heidecker of Austin, Texas and Quinn E. LaTour of Annville; three siblings, Kathleen and her husband James Davis, Rebecca and her husband John Urban and Larry, all of Bethlehem; and a sister Deborah Litner of Owings Mill, Maryland.

He was predeceased by a brother, Charles (Tom) Neff.
