Robert Hanosek, 85, of Allentown, died in his home July 27, 2023. He was the husband of Nanette (Seagreaves) for 63 years.

Born in East Mauch Chunk, he was a son of the late Francis and Margaret (Wimmer) Hanosek.

He was a 1955 Whitehall High School graduate. He attended Kutztown State University.

He was a chief estimator at Lehigh Structural Steel for more than 29 years.

He was a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown, where he volunteered, helped to count collections and coordinated the parish festival for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Francis; two sons, Robert Jr. with wife Eileen and Anthony with wife Carol; a daughter, Kathleen Davidowich; 10 grandchildren, Ryan Hanosek, Mary Kate Messler, Erin Cox, Patrick Hanosek, Robby Hanosek, Matthew Davidowich, Jennifer Davidowich, Parker Hanosek, John Hanosek and Sean Davidowich; and six great-grandchildren, Sean, Caden, Kellan, Bradley, Samuel and Luke.

He predeceased by a son, Christopher.

There will be a calling time 9-10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Aug. 3 at the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown, 18102.

Contributions may be to the church sanctuary memorial fund.
