Northampton police
Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
JULY 1
Terroristic threats were investigated in the 1200 block of Main Street, the 1800 block of Newport Avenue and the 1300 block of Stewart Street.
Officers conducted a warrant service in the 1000 block of Main Street. A male and a female with active warrants out of Northampton County were taken into custody and transported to the station. The female was transported to Northampton County Prison, and the male was released to a Northampton County sheriff.
A disturbance at Cherryville Road and Main Street was reported.
In the 100 block of Candlewycke Lane, a report of fireworks was handled.
JULY 2
Juvenile problems were addressed in the 1200 block of Main Street, the 1700 block of Washington Avenue and the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
Police checked a building in the 700 block of Washington Avenue.
JULY 3
A civil matter in the 500 block of East 10th Street was reported.
Traffic stops were conducted at East 10th Street and Siegfried Avenue, at Main Street and Laubach Avenue, at East 10th Street and Northampton Avenue, in the 1000 block of Main Street, at East 10th Street and Howertown Road, at East 21st and Mill streets and in the unit block of West 21st Street.
JULY 4
A suspected DUI in the 600 block of Main Street was investigated.
Traffic stops were conducted at East Fourth and Main streets, at Canal and West 10th streets, in the 2300 block of Main Street and at Canal and West 16th streets.
Police checked on the welfare of males in the 100 block of West 27th Street and the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
Suspicious activity at Main and West 21st streets was reported.
Juvenile problems were addressed at West 14th and Canal streets and in the unit block of West Fourth Street.
Noise complaints were addressed in the 2400 block of Main Street, the 300 block of Held Drive, the 300 block of East Fifth Street and at Beil Alley and East 18th Street.
