The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following road work this week:

Lehigh County

• Various municipalities: Interstate 78 construction between Exit 55 (Route 29) and Northampton County line, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday.

• Upper Macungie, Lower Macungie and South Whitehall Townships: Interstate 78

construction between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 54 Route 222), 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

• Various municipalities: Interstate 78, sweeping between Lehigh County line and

Northampton County line, 9 a.m. To 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Upper Saucon Township: East Passer Road Drainage between Route 309 and Bucks

County Line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Upper/Lower Macungie Townships: Trexlertown Road pothole patching between

Spring Creek Road and Route 222, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through

Friday.

• Upper Macungie Township: Schantz Road drainage between Newtown Road and

Adams Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Northampton County

• Bethlehem Township: Route 22 construction between routes 512 and PA 33, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Friday through Thursday.

• Various municipalities: Route 33 between Route 22 and Main Street (Tatamy), 9 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Monday

• Bethlehem: Route 378/Wyandotte Street utility work between Broadway and 4th

Street, 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

• Bethlehem: PA 378/Wyandotte Street utility work between Summit Street and

Sassafras Street, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Wednesday.
