Salvatore “John” Dicataldo, 76, formerly of New Tripoli, died July 19, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Tatjana (Feszak) Dicataldo, were married 52 years, until her death in March 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Cecilia (Ciquero) Dicataldo.

He worked in telecommunications for 35 years before retiring.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield.

He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

His survivors include a daughter Janine Hemond of Orefield; sons Robert Dicataldo of Lehighton and John Dicataldo of Coplay; brother Dennis Dicataldo (Shirley) of Rosyln, N.J.; grandchildren Ashlyn and Anthony, and Josephine and Jonathan.

He was predeceased by siblings Ronald and Susan Dicataldo.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 28 in Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St, Fogelsville. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m
