Olive A. Wood, 92, of Germansville, died July 23, 2023, at home.

She was the widow of John Weremedic.

Born in Frackville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Beulah (Ruberight) Wood.

She was an operator at AT&T for seven years.

Before that, she was a self-employed beautician and a sales rep for the former Harvey Cresswill and was also a technician for the Wella Corp, involved with beautician supplies.

She loved doing arts, crafts and framing pictures.

She was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include a son, John P. Weremedic of Germansville; and a grandson, Matthew D. Weremedic.
