Gregory T. Meilinger, 28, of Allentown, died suddenly and unexpectedly on July 20, 2023.

Born July 29, 1994, he graduated in 2013 from Parkland High School and LCTI for welding.

He was a kind, loyal and empathetic person who loved his family, friends, animals and always fought for the underdog.

He loved music, playing video games with his friends, and his doggo, Reese.

Bright, creative and fun, his kind and loving heart touched the lives of everyone he met, and he will be eternally missed.

He was currently working for Art’s Custom Machine, Kutztown, where he had dreams of pursuing machine programming.

With so much more to offer this world, he leaves behind his beloved mother Diane Brown Burkhardt; Alan Burkhardt, father; Nathan Meilinger, father, deceased, and wife Gail.

He is survived by his brother, Colton M. Burkhardt, partner Michel; niece Presley; sister Claudia Mae Multari and husband, Pietro; nephews Luciano and Salvatore; aunts and uncles Maryanne, Terri, Michelle, husband Julius; cousins Samantha, Matthew and Thomas; Aunt Noreen and Uncles Gene and Rodney and cousins Toni and Andrew.

A celebration of his life will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. July 29 at The Club at Twin Lakes, 3625 Shankweiler Road, Allentown.
