Alberta M. Ellison, 87, of New Tripoli, died on July 17, 2023, in Cornerstone Living, Weisenberg Township.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Ditsche) Murray.

She was an office courier for the former Bell Telephone Company in Philadelphia until she married and began raising her family.

She grew up in Philadelphia, residing there most of her life before moving into the Lehigh Valley.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Her survivors include daughters Roberta Becker of Horsham and Cynthia (Wesley) Rish of Breinigsville; sons Robert (Deanna) Becker of Newtown and Christopher (Eileen) Ellison of Downingtown; brother, Daniel Murray, of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Graham and Edna Butler.

There will be a Memorial Mass held at the convenience of the family.
