Demolition continues at the site of the former Sears department store at the Whitehall Mall, Grape Street and MacArthur Road. The two-level Sears store opened with the mall in 1966. Its last day of business was in early 2020. Floor & Decor, a hard-surface flooring retail chain, is coming to the site, according to a sign posted on the chain link fence surrounding the work site.
