Johann Stumpfl

Johann Stumpfl, 91, of Hatboro, died peacefully July 19, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He and his wife, Helga were married for more than 50 years. Born in Olbendorf, Austria, he was the son of the late Johann Stumpfl and Maria (Heschl) Stumpfl.

He was an accomplished master cabinet maker having learned his trade in Vienna where he met and married his beloved wife. They immigrated to the United States in 1955, where they raised their family and he worked as a union carpenter until retirement.

He and his wife traveled extensively abroad and in the United States.

He will be missed by family living in Austria, along with many friends and neighbors here in the States.

He is survived by daughters, Helma Rosenthal (Richard), Gerri Pennock (William), Judith Buttil (Richard); grandchildren, Sally Young (Jordan), Christopher Janczuk (Amy), Kerina Ferrari (Thomas), William S. Pennock (Kaite), Kristy Kampf (Casey), Eric Buttil (LaRaine), Jessica B. Buttil; 25 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two older brothers.
