Flamin’ Dick and the Hot Rods entertain the crowd

Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods entertain crowds, young and old, July 22 at the Lockridge Park Bandshell. It was a perfect evening to enjoy classic oldies music with family and friends on the grassy hill side surrounding the bandshell.
As part of the Lower Macungie Township Summer Concert Series, Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods perform a concert at the Hills at Lockridge Bandshell, 7100 Scenic View Drive, Macungie.
PRESS PHOTOS BY TIM SINGLES Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods call themselves a “50s and 60s Rock-n-Roll Party Band, playing a variety of music from the years 1955 to 1968.” Members of the band include: Keith “Spike” Rentschler, of Robensonia, guitar and vocals; Dick Weatherholtz “Flamin' Dick” Weatherholtz, of Robensonia, lead vocals and guitar; Glenn Paul “G.P.” Balthaser, of Lebanon, bass guitar and vocals; John “Squeek” Zaneski, of Pottstown, sax, keyboards and vocals and Jack “Flash” Keller, drums and vocals.
