University of Tampa
Young-Holley earns dean’s list honors
Angeleta Young-Holley, of Northampton, earned dean’s list honors at the University of Tampa for the spring 2023 semester. Young-Holley is a rising sophomore majoring in actuarial science. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean’s list.
The University of Tampa is a private, comprehensive university located on 110 acres on the riverfront in downtown Tampa. Known for academic excellence, personal attention and real-world experience in its undergraduate and graduate programs, the university serves approximately 10,000 students from 50 states and about 130 countries. Apple named to dean’s list
Lexi Apple, of Northampton, excelled during the spring 2023 semester at Hofstra University, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the dean’s list. Her major is psychology.

Bet, Korpics named to dean’s list
Saint Francis University congratulates Vincent Bet, of Whitehall, and Raine Korpics, of Walnutport, for being named to the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester. They were among 753 students who earned spots on one of the honors lists. Korpics is majoring in health science. To earn an honors list distinction, a student must have full-time status with a quality-point average of 4.0 (president’s) or 3.5 (dean’s) on 12 or more credits during a single semester, with no continuing or incomplete grades.

Rehnert graduates
Widener University celebrated the achievements of 1,375 Chester-campus graduates, one being Claudia Rehnert, of Whitehall, in five joyful ceremonies, held on Memorial Field May 9-11. Graduates from the schools of business, nursing, engineering, arts and sciences, health and human services and Center for Graduate and Continuing Studies individually crossed the stage and were congratulated by President Stacey Robertson as they received a symbolic representation of their degrees. Graduates hailed from 12 countries and 38 states.
Rehnert earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
