Johnny Sipos, of Northampton, takes an enjoyable and leisurely ride on Baja Buggies while smiling and waving to his family during the Cement Belt Fair, held at Victor C. Talotta Park, 5185 Dewey St., Cementon. The event was set for June 26-July 1, but the first two nights of the fair were canceled due to severe thunderstorms and threat of flooding. The fair culminated July 1 with a fireworks display.

Alyssa Pisano, of Whitehall, and Aubree Foley, of Northampton, ride the time-honored center piece of just about any carnival midway - the Ferris wheel.
