Bath: Petersville Rod and Gun Club to host pavilion party July 29
Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be hosting its Party under the Pavilion event 7-10 p.m. July 29. There will be live music by Pretty Britty Project, as well as cornhole and horseshoes.
Clams, wings, chicken fingers, fries and pierogies are on the menu. The Snack Shack outside bar will be open.

Bath Farmers Market is open 9 a.m.-noon every Saturday at the clock on West Main Street.
On Aug. 5, the market will be having a Lego contest. Tables will be set up in the grassy area for the contestants to work on their designs for an hour. A bag of Legos will be provided. There will be two or three prize categories, based off the age of the participants.
Come out, have some fun, and show others your skills and imagination.

Bath Area Food Bank will hold its next distribution Aug. 8, starting 9:30 a.m., in the lower level of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St. Do not arrive before 9:30 a.m. due to safety reasons.

Bath’s Old Home Weekend is right around the corner with lots of fun for everyone. It will be held Aug. 10-13 at Ciff Cowling Field.
Movie and business night is Aug. 10. “The Sandlot” will be shown at the field starting between 7:30-8 p.m. The rain date is Aug. 13. The concession stand will be open, courtesy of Bath Lions Club. Bring your own chairs. Borough businesses will be open late with specials. The water treatment plant will be offering tours.
Entertainment night will be Aug. 11 at the field. Comedian Scott Henninger will be performing 6-7 p.m. The Bryant Brothers Trio will perform music 7-9 p.m. The concession stand will be open, courtesy of Bath Borough administration. Bring your own chairs.
Activity day is set for Aug. 12. The annual softball tournament, sponsored by Bath Allen Youth Club, will begin 12:30 p.m. at the field. The rain date is Aug. 13. The Wonton Soups will perform 5-8 p.m. The concession stand will be open, courtesy of St. John’s church. Bring your own chairs.
Each day will feature Mayor Fiorella Reginelli-Mirabito’s Throw a Buck in the Truck fundraiser to purchase school supplies for Bath Borough schools.
Bath residents are encouraged to decorate their houses red, white and blue and help celebrate Bath community spirit.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is still collecting canned vegetables and cleaning supplies for the month of July. The food bank is still in need of any type of canned fruits and macaroni and cheese.
Donations for the food bank can be dropped off in the bins in fellowship hall or the upstairs gathering area.
