Bethlehem City Mounted Patrol Officers Justin Madera and Ryan Danko stood watch over the second annual Detective James Stanko Memorial Softball Tournament recently in Alton Park, Allentown.
According to Allentown Officer TC Cunningham, the tournament reflects Stanko’s legacy in helping the Allentown Police Department build strong community ties, especially with the city’s youth. Teams represented included Allentown Police, St. Luke’s, Lehigh County and EMS personnel.
Danko and Madera said proceeds will go toward the new PAL building on the grounds of the Police Academy.
