By LOU WHEELAND

Special to The Press

South Whitehall Township sponsored an Emergency Medical Services Youth Camp hosted by the Cetronia Ambulance Corps during the week of June 12-16.

The goal of the program was to introduce township youth to the community services provided by firefighters and emergency medical services.

The program included an introduction to firefighting, fire rescue, emergency medical services, and the role of South Whitehall Township police.

On June 13, those attending the youth camp were introduced to the capabilities of the three South Whitehall Township fire departments, Cetronia, Greenawalds and Woodlawn.

Attendees had the opportunity to fly in the bucket of Cetronia Tower 331, as well as handle a fire hose line supplied Woodlawn Engine 3212.
