June E. “Dolly” Peters, 85, of Coplay, died July 14, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Roy W. Peters Sr.

Born June 23, 1938, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle I. (Sheckler) Hepner.

She was the strongest, most special woman who lovingly cared for her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her survivors include children Debbie A. Binger of Boyton Beach, Fla., Roy W. Peters Jr. (Elaine) of Bath, Patti L. Ellison (Keith) of Fredericksburg, George R. Peters, Cindi L. Miller of New Tripoli, and Jason C. Peters (Jennifer) of Coplay; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Donald Peters of Slatington; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place 9:30 a.m. July 24 at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.
