Barbara Ann Murphy, 86, of Schnecksville, died peacefully July 1, 2023.

Born July 24, 1936, in Mountainville, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Cora (Zimmerman) Frey.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Merrill in 2008.

Her survivors include her daughter, Linda Reiter, with whom she resided, and her children Lindsay and Christopher Reiter; son Terrence Murphy, and his wife, Karen, and his children Jennifer Murphy Gabovitz, and her husband, Michael, and their daughter Kirsten; Rebecca Murphy-Geroulo and her children Christian and Gabriella Sabwa and Lilliana Geroulo, Shawn Murphy, and wife, Megan, and their children McKenna and Shane Murphy; brother Wilmer Frey Jr. and wife, Cheryl.

She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Carl Reiter, and brother, Kenneth Frey.

Family and friends may gather noon-2 p.m. July 28 in Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.

A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, South Whitehall
