Howard R. Hoffert, 83, of Allentown, died July 12, 2023, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Audrey F. (Jacoby) for 59 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Howard W. and Evaline (Harnish) Hoffert.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a systems technician at the former Bell Telephone Company for 42 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Scott and Gary; and two grandchildren, Meghan and Jillian.

There is a calling time 9-10 a.m., followed by a prayer service 10 a.m., July 20 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.

Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
