Barbara Ann Murphy, 86, of Schnecksville, died July 1, 2023. She was the wife of the late Merrill Murphy.

Born in Mountainville, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Cora (Zimmerman) Frey.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Reiter, with whom she resided, and her children Lindsay and Christopher Reiter; a son, Terrence and his wife Karen and his children Jennifer Murphy Gabovitz and her husband Michael and their daughter Kirsten; Rebecca Murphy- Geroulo and her children Christian and Gabriella Sabwa and Lilliana Geroulo and Shawn and wife Megan and their children McKenna and Shane Murphy; and a brother, Wilmer Frey Jr. and wife Cheryl.

She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Carl Reiter; and a brother, Kenneth Frey.

There will be calling hour noon-2 p.m., followed by a memorial service 2 p.m., July 28 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
