Allen/East Allen townships: Car show is July 29 at Bicentennial Park
The eighth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show, set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 29 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, East Allen Township, welcomes all makes, models and years of cars, motorcycles and antique tractors.
Registration is planned for 9 a.m.-noon. The rain date is set for July 30.

Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society continues its extended historical tour days and hours every Saturday and Sunday in July at 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township.
This area was first founded and called Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement. It is the oldest, permanent village of the Lehigh Valley.

Wildlands Conservancy is hosting stream maintenance events at several locations during August. These events will be held 8 a.m.-noon Aug. 4, 11, 18 and 25.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be holding its monthly breakfast 8-11 a.m. Aug. 20. It is open to the public.

The 295th anniversary festival of Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement, hosted by Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society, is 1 p.m. Sept. 9.
Tours are planned for 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. The rain date is set for Sept. 10.
Visit the grave site of Jane Horner, the first woman killed by Native Americans in Northampton County. Listen to the story and gift giving between George Washington and Gen. Robert Brown. Learn about the ancestors of Theodore Roosevelt and Harry Truman. Hear the story about John Hays and Ben Franklin.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
