A rainbow of fun at Shoemaker Elementary School

CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS Shoemaker Elementary School, 4068 N. Fairview St., Macungie, held its sixth annual Color Run at the end the school year. Participants could walk or run in this colorful event complete with Kona Ice, food and a DJ. ABOVE: Participants are ready to start the sixth annual Color Run at Shoemaker Elementary School.
A large crowd of participants walk or run while being sprayed with various colors.
Families wear white shirts which will end up being colorful creations when the walk/run is over.
The Color Run is held on the grounds of Shoemaker Elementary School and coordinated by the Shoemaker Elementary PTO. A Lower Macungie firetruck is on hand to assist with the fun.
