What is your service story?

“I was a senior airman in the U.S. Air Force and was deployed overseas for years. I joined because of family history for serving, my father and grandfather did, and to make a difference. It was the greatest experience of my life.” John Sekella Kutztown
“U. S. Army Infantry as an E-5 serving overseas. When the Iranian hostages were released and [Ronald] Reagan was president, I wanted to work for that man.” Patrick Cosgrove Allentown
“U. S. Marine Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant and I served all over the world. My inspiration to serve was my older brother, who did two tours in Vietnam.” Timothy Parsons Bethlehem
“U. S. Air Force E-3, an Airman 1st Class. I was stationed stateside and disabled in a training exercise. I wanted to use the military service to pay for my college education and they did help me with that.” Gretchen Manmiller Fleetwood
“U. S. Navy as an E-3 and I served overseas in the Mediterranean on the USS San Diego. I volunteered as my father did in World War II.” Bill Dusquenel Easton
“In the U.S. Army at the rank of E-5 as a flight engineer on a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. I was deployed to Vietnam with 101st Airborne Division in 69-70. I think I did it because of my father's World War II service and to support the grunts to whom I delivered supplies.” Jon Wieand Whitehall Township
