Joan S. Wilt, 83, formerly of Macungie, died on May 5, 2023, in Parkland Manor, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Donald A. Wilt.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Greno) Koren.

Before retiring, she was an LPN at Cedarbrook and previously at The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She will be remembered for enjoying the outdoors, especially watching the birds, gardening, helping others and volunteering at various assisted living communities. She was an avid baker, baking cakes for her family’s special occasions, a great cook and had a love for cheesesteaks and pizza.

Her survivors include a sister Elaine Solvino; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Michael and sisters Irene Kokosky and Mary Brand.

Contributions may be made to the Allentown Rescue Mission or to Family Pillars Hospice, c/o the funeral home, 1625 W. Highland St. Allentown.
