Whitehall Township Public Library: Library scavenger hunt set for July 18

Youth in grades 1-5 can explore Whitehall Township Public Library through our library scavenger hunt 1:30 p.m. July 18.

Registration is required.

Play with our Duplo collection 10:30 a.m. July 18. The event is for toddlers to kindergartners.

No registration is required.

Creation Station: Magnet Action will be held 6 p.m. July 19. Youth in grades 3-6 can learn the science of magnets.

Protect yourself and your family by learning all about bad bugs 6 p.m. July 20.

Join the Lehigh County Conservation District for simple tips to prevent tick-borne diseases and how to reduce biting mosquitoes around your home.

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to create their own sunflower painting 9 a.m. July 25 with Lehigh Valley Decorative Painters.

Supplies will be provided. Registration is required.

We’re excited to welcome back P.T. Reptiles 6 p.m. July 26 for our summer reading program.

Preschool storytime is set for 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday in July, and toddler storytime is held 11 a.m. every Thursday in July.

July’s museum pass spotlight is Museum of the American Revolution, 101 S. Third St., Philadelphia.

Museum passes are free with your LCLC library card. The pass allows two adults and four children into the museum. Passes must be checked out and returned to the library circulation desk.

The library will host book discussions for Whitehall-Coplay School District middle and high school students based on their school summer reading requirements.

The summer reading program - All Together Now - is underway and continues through Aug. 5. Join the library for events, reading challenge incentives and prizes.
