Thelma Mae Davis- Pritchard, of Whitehall, died July 3, 2023, at home. She was the wife of the late Jack Pritchard.

Born in Margarettsville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Chan and Mae-Lois Sumlar.

She attended school in Northampton County, graduating from Gumberry High School in 1968.

She was employed by Western Electric in New Jersey. She later retired from AT&T in Allentown. She also worked at B. Braun and retired after 12 years of service.

She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Tajuana Maynard with Dwayne of Suitland, Md.; a son, Aaron Davis with Elia of Whitehall; a stepdaughter, Deborah Howard of Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren, Jesiah Davis, Tanitra Maynard and Darius Davis; four siblings, Barbara Winston of Bluffton, S.C., Dorothy with Chrissy Hill of Plainfield, N.J., Peggy with Robert Vassor of Columbia, S.C., and Chan with Junie Sumlar of Margarettsville, N.C.; three sisters-in-law, Betty with Arthur, Mamie and Sherry; a brother-in-law, Mac with Sarah; an aunt, Vivian Blout; five nieces, Monique, Alicia, Terra, Kenya and Krista; a nephew, Lemont; and cousins.

She was predeceased by a brother, John with Pete Sumlar; a grandson, Fabian Davis; and a niece, Chancey Sumlar.
