Reginald H. Rickard Jr., 80, of Allentown, died July 8, 2023. He was the husband of the late Roseann F. (Eddinger) Rickard for 55 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Reginald H. and Margaret (Csekitz) Rickard Sr.

He was a graduate of the first class at Louis E. Dieruff High School.

He was a carpenter for Duggan and Marcon for more than 35 years until he retired in 2001.

He was a volunteer and caretaker of the Lil’ Le-Hi Trout Nursery, Allentown.

He is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. and husband Rob Rindock; a son, Reggie J.; two grandsons, Nicholas and Logan; three sisters, BettyAnn Godfrey of Omaha, Neb., Gina Lightcap of Coopersburg and Margie Frenier of Church Hill, Va.; two brothers, Ronald of Peoria, Ariz., and Jeffrey and his wife Susan of Allentown; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Alex; and a brother, James.
