Gregory “Pappy” R. Bachman, 76, died unexpectedly at home June 27, 2023. He was the husband of the late Suzanne (Heffner) Bachman.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stewart and Arlene (Marushak) Bachman.

He was a chainman at the Bethlehem Steel until he retired in 1997. He later worked for Kraft Foods.

He is survived by a stepson, Matthew Nowik with Christine of York; a grandson, Austin of York with girlfriend Mikayleigh; a sister, Dianne Roberts with Bill of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Stewart with Terri of Lexington, S.C.; a niece, Cara Roberts; and a nephew, Matt Roberts.

Services will be private.
