The Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School cheerleaders are holding a car wash fundraiser 9 a.m. to noon July 15 at the high school, 500 E. Montgomery St.

There is a school board meeting scheduled 7 p.m. July 19 at the administration building. This meeting is on an as-needed basis.
The annual Blueberry Festival will be held July 15-19 at Bethlehem’s Burnside Plantation, 1461 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem. There will be things to buy, things to eat and things to drink with a blueberry theme. Enjoy!

As we enter the hottest days of the summer, Salisbury Township has authorized Republic Services to begin garbage pickup 4 a.m. on days forecasted to be extremely hot. To ensure you don’t miss your pickup, make sure your trash and recycling are at the curb the night before.
Salisbury Township is looking for crossing guards for the 2023-2024 school year. Applicants must be available Monday through Friday for two, one-hour shifts a day. For more information visit salisburytownshippa.org/jobs/crossing-guard-4/.
The Salisbury Yard Waste Drop-off sites are open for the season. The Franko site will be open July 13, 15 and 24. Devonshire will be open July 17, 20 and 22. As always, hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
