JUNE 17
A noise complaint brought police to the unit block of South Second Street.
Suspicious activity at North Second and Chestnut streets was investigated.
Officers performed a vehicle stop at Coplay and North Second streets. The vehicle failed to signal while making turns. The driver’s license had been suspended for a DUI offense, police said. The driver also had an outstanding warrant from Bethlehem for a felony burglary.
JUNE 18
Police were on the scene of a hit and run in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street.
Welfare checks were conducted on North Fourth Street and at Eighth and Oak streets.
A traffic stop brought police to Bridge and Main streets, Northampton.

A reported assault in progress in the area of Second and Chestnut streets brought police to the scene.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the unit block of North Front Street.
The department investigated a report of a lost wallet in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.
Police assisted with a custody issue in the unit block of Magna Drive.
A custody issue reportedly led to a disturbance in the 100 block of South Second Street.
JUNE 20
Officers investigated a missing juvenile in the unit block of South Seventh Street.
An arrest was made for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 200 block of South Fourth Street.
JUNE 21
Officers assisted with a mental health call in the 1100 block of Tapler Drive.
The department investigated a report of a felon in the unit block of North Front Street shooting a firearm with his daughter in the woods. State parole officers and Lehigh County detectives were alerted.
A resident in the 1100 block of Bernice Drive asked police to test possible drugs found in her home.
Officers performed a check on a parked truck with its doors open in the 300 block of Cherry Street.
JUNE 22
Three arrests were made when police responded to an armed person report in the unit block of North Second Street. Four males were reportedly involved with a firearms violation. North Catasauqua and Catasauqua police assisted.
Officers were on the scene of a reported child alcohol overdose in the unit block of North Second Street.
An animal complaint brought police to North Second and Chestnut streets.
A resident in the 1100 block of Center Street reported a stolen lawn mower.
The department investigated a neighbor complaint in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
An alarm brought police to the 100 block of South Second Street.
Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle in the 5900 block of Coplay Road.

A neighbor dispute brought police to the 100 block of Cherry Street.

Police conducted a welfare check in the unit block of North Second Street.
A resident called the department regarding a homeless person sleeping near the Saylor Kilns.
JUNE 25
Police were on the scene of a reported domestic assault in the 1100 block of Tapler Drive involving a juvenile female.
Officers conducted a vehicle stop after observing a vehicle speeding in the area of South Second and Center streets. Police reportedly noticed odors of cigar and marijuana coming from the car. It was discovered the driver is wanted in Northampton County for DUI charges. The driver was transported for booking.
Police investigated a reported of vandalism involving cut security camera cables in the unit block of North Second Street.
