Harding University
Morse graduates
Grace Morse, of Whitehall, is one of more than 600 students who received diplomas and were recognized as Harding University graduates for spring 2023 during a commencement ceremony May 6. Morse received a Bachelor of Arts in communication sciences and disorders.
Graduates include students from the college of allied health, college of arts and humanities, college of Bible and ministry, Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration, Cannon-Clary College of Education, Carr College of Nursing, college of pharmacy, college of sciences and university college

York College of Pennsylvania
Christiano earns degree
Anthony Christiano, of Northampton, graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education-general science May 13.
Established in 1787, York College of Pennsylvania is a private, four-year college located in the city of York, a hub of arts and industry between Baltimore and Philadelphia.

University of Scranton
Students graduate
The University of Scranton congratulates the more than 850 members of the Class of 2023 who were awarded bachelor’s and associate degrees at an undergraduate commencement ceremony held May 21 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre. Degrees were conferred to graduates who had completed their academic degree requirements in August and December of 2022, as well as January and May of 2023.

Wilkes University
Degrees are awarded
Wilkes University awarded more than 650 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees at its 76th spring commencement ceremonies held May 20 in the McHale Athletic Center in the Simms Center on Main, Wilkes-Barre. The degrees conferred include 278 bachelor’s, 305 master’s and 83 doctoral degrees.

Brett named to president’s list
More than 900 students have been honored for their academic achievement at Fairmont State University after completing the spring 2023 semester, among them, Austin Brett, of Lehigh County. The university has released the president’s list to recognize high-achieving students for their academic distinction. Full-time students achieving a perfect 4.0 grade-point average are named to the president’s list.

Basile, Stewart earn degrees
Alvernia University congratulations the 610 students who earned associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees during the 2022-23 academic year. Graduates from August 2022, December 2022 and May 2023 celebrated by walking across the stage during a pair of commencement ceremonies May 13 at the Alvernia Stadium in Reading.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Condomitti earns dean’s list
Jagger Condomitti, of Danielsville, has been named to the dean’s list for the college of architecture at University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year. Condomitti is a junior majoring in architectural studies. More than 6,400 students at Nebraska were given this honor for the spring semester.
Qualification for the dean’s list varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. All qualifying GPAs are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours.
