The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church will meet 10 a.m. July 17 at the church, 604 Fourth St.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., will be offering its free community lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. July 17.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks will next meet 6:30 p.m. July 19 at the municipal complex, 90 Bridge St. The group meets monthly the third Wednesday of the month.

The mission of the group is to improve the quality of life for Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain parks. The group is always looking for new volunteer members. There is no cost or dues to join.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale on all Christmas items through July 22.

Regular thrift shop hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
